Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions for Full-Time Programs, the Assistant Director will help manage, evaluate, and grow the MSA, MSF, and MSQF programs. The role focuses on leading recruitment strategies, strengthening enrollment pathways, and supporting tuition revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full admissions lifecycle for MSA, MSF, and MSQF programs, including holistic application evaluation, admission decisions, and enrollment management.
  • Develop and implement data-driven recruitment strategies, manage pipelines with undergraduate institutions and professional associations, and track enrollment metrics in the Slate CRM.
  • Lead yield strategies, enhance conversion from admission to matriculation, and support financial aid and deposit rate optimization.
  • Collaborate with faculty, program directors, and stakeholders to align admissions strategies with academic standards and enrollment goals.
  • Represent the Gabelli School at domestic and international recruiting events, workshops, and information sessions.
  • Engage candidates via virtual communications, small-group interactions, and personalized outreach.
  • Assist with cross-functional initiatives supporting enrollment growth and student success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related area.
  • Experience managing user-facing technology applications such as Slate or Salesforce.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume candidate engagement while maintaining a personalized approach.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or equivalent experience in graduate management education; experience recruiting for analytically rigorous graduate business programs.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $77,000 – $81,800. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
