We are partnering with a well-established firm to hire a Regulatory Reporting & Controls Lead.

The Role

This is a broad and genuinely varied position sitting at the heart of the finance function. You’ll lead on the regulatory reporting and get exposure to the broader business. A real opportunity to shape something from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation and submission of all regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FCA/PRA requirements
  • Monitor capital adequacy and liquidity, including ICARA preparation and prudential oversight
  • Support ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls across the Group
  • Provide technical accounting support on complex transactions
  • Deputise to the Head of Financial Control as required
  • Line manage and develop direct reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong UK banking regulatory reporting experience and prudential framework knowledge
  • Background in a regulated financial services environment
  • Lending experience advantageous
  • A proactive self-starter who takes genuine ownership of their area
