We’re looking for an Accountant with a strong financial control mindset to support the business through a post‑integration period. This role sits at the intersection of controls, remuneration, process optimisation and front‑office engagement, operating in a fast‑paced environment with demanding stakeholders across Financial Services. This is currently positioned as a 12 month FTC.
You’ll help ensure remuneration and compensation arrangements are accurate, well‑controlled and delivered on time, while strengthening processes, improving data quality and supporting the transition to new frameworks following integration.
Key Responsibilities
Remuneration & Compensation Delivery
- Produce accurate, complete and timely remuneration and compensation calculations, statements and payments.
- Ensure all outputs meet control standards, audit requirements and contractual terms.
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and support a clean, well‑governed remuneration environment.
- Rapidly understand existing remuneration structures and support the move from legacy models to new frameworks.
- Strengthen processes, controls and data flows to ensure consistency, accuracy and scalability.
- Identify control gaps, investigate issues and drive sustainable remediation.
Stakeholder & Front‑Office Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for front‑office teams, managing queries with clarity, pace and professionalism.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Operations and front‑office leadership.
- Communicate complex remuneration concepts in a clear, accessible way.
Reporting, MI & Insight
- Support development of high‑quality MI, dashboards and reporting packs.
- Work with Finance, Technology and Operations to enhance systems, data and workflow efficiency.
- Contribute to improvements reporting tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or strong relevant experience.
- Background in remuneration, compensation, financial control OR analytical roles.
- Experience working with front‑office stakeholders in fast‑paced Financial Services environments.
- Exposure to post‑integration, transformation or change environments is advantageous.
