The Role: We are recruiting a leader with a proven track record of launching and growing sales significantly for multiple brands and/or retailers on TikTok Shop. Your experience must centre around creator marketing and how that scales up as an agency service. You will also have full remit over how we build our Live Shopping service, how TikTok Ads contribute to the overall strategy, and all of the other levers that contribute towards sales success. This role is for someone who is a TikTok Shop native, who knows how the marketplace works and what an agency needs to build in order to deliver significant sales results for our clients.
You will be supported by an existing creator marketing exec, advertising specialist, and a creative specialist. There is also an array of wider marketplace experience across the agency. You will lead the development of the team function and how that evolves as we take on more clients and expand our capabilities/services we offer within TikTok.
As our Head of Social Commerce, you will work closely with our existing clients to create ‘go to market’ plans as they launch onto TikTok Shop. You will also lead campaigns to promote our services and attract new TikTok clients as well as acting as part of the company's senior leadership team.
Requirements and qualifications:- UK-based
- Experience with TikTok US and/or UK
- Expertise with TikTok’s creator marketplace
- Management of TikTok affiliate campaigns and demonstrable results
- Ability to devise influencer strategies that are appropriate for the brand, its goals, positioning, and price point
- Experience devising and managing Live Shopping experiences for brands or retailers
- Wider understanding of ecommerce and marketplace trading
- Ability to recruit and build close bonds with creators
- 2–4 years of experience in influencer marketing, partnerships, or a related marketing function
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Identifying and securing high-potential influencers to foster long-term, strategic partnerships
- Overseeing the creation of compelling outreach strategies and content to engage influencers
- Approving and guiding the development of campaign briefs, influencer rosters, and content concepts
- Monitoring and optimising influencer performance across brand awareness, content quality, and conversions
- Leading experimentation into new influencer niches and formats, such as user-generated content (UGC), ambassador programs, and niche communities
- Reporting regularly on team performance and campaign return on investment (ROI) to senior stakeholders
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging influencer talent, and platform opportunities
- Advertising: devising advertising strategies to complement creator marketing activity and to accelerate sales alongside creator marketing campaigns
- Operations: coordinating with our operations team to support the launch of new brands onto TikTok Shop and ongoing Shop Management
- US TikTok Creator Community Development: Growing and nurturing US and UK TikTok creators through both one-to-one and community-wide management and communication
- Developing quarterly and monthly operational plans to increase creators' content production, compliance, and monetization on the e-commerce platform
- Implementing tiered management strategies (top-tier, mid-tier, long-tail creators) to maximize ROI and efficiency
- Establish a growing pool of ‘go-to’ creators that we have direct relationships with
- Develop partnerships with TAP, CAP, and Talent Management partners to enhance our internal creator network
