Forde Recruitment, a leading provider of industrial and manufacturing recruitment solutions across South Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for an experienced Production & Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing operation across sites in Sheffield and the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong experience in production management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, lean manufacturing, health & safety, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production, warehouse, and distribution operations
- Maintain and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and KPI monitoring
- Manage factory operatives and delivery drivers, ensuring performance, attendance, and conduct meet company standards
- Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are consistently achieved
- Allocate labour and driver resources effectively across operations
- Monitor production schedules and ensure workflow targets are achieved throughout the day
- Minimise machinery downtime by identifying and resolving operational issues quickly
- Ensure planned preventative maintenance programmes are completed internally and externally
