This is an excellent opportunity for skilled CNC machinists with experience operating Alpha (Guide-i) and L300 (Guide-i) machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
CNC Turner Responsibilities
- Operating CNC turning machinery including Alpha (Guide-i) and L300 (Guide-i) controls
- Manufacturing precision engineered components to customer specifications
- Working with specialist aerospace-grade materials including Inconel 718
- Monitoring machine performance and maintaining high quality standards
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Carrying out quality checks using precision measuring equipment
- Ensuring production targets and machining deadlines are achieved
- Maintaining safe and efficient working practices within the workshop
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner, CNC Machinist, or Precision Engineer
- Experience operating Alpha (Guide-i) and/or L300 (Guide-i) machinery is essential
- Knowledge and experience machining Inconel 718 or similar high-performance materials
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or precision machining environments preferred
Shift Patterns Available
- Permanent Days Monday to Thursday Start time between 6:00am - 7:00am Finish at approximately 2:30pm depending on start time
- Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm or Split Shift Pattern 2 weeks on days 2 weeks on afters
- Afters Shift Monday to Thursday 4:00pm - 2:00am
- Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Pay Rate
Competitive salary Pay rate dependent on experience and skill level
