Our client, a leading manufacturer of chilled, frozen and ambient convenience foods, is currently looking to recruit a number of Class 1 / LGV C&E Trunking drivers to work on their behalf. Based out of their flagship Sheffield manufacturing site, you will be responsible for delivering product nationwide to RDCs.
As a Class 1 / LGV C+E Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient product transportation across the country. Key duties include:
- Completing necessary transport administration
- Driving in a fuel-efficient manner
- Ensuring compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations
- Maintaining correct temperature specifications during transportation
- Adhering to safe systems of work
- Conducting pre and post vehicle checks
Our client values their drivers' well-being and offers an uninterrupted minimum of 8-hour shifts without any breaks being deducted.
LGV C+E Driver Rates (PAYE): Mon-Sat £18.11, Sun - £19.61
Requirements:
- Hold a full HGV C+E driving licence
- Possess a minimum of 24 months' driving experience for Driver Negligible Incident (DNI)
- Demonstrate a good level of English speaking and written communication skills
- Have a maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted)
