Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of industrial workers within South Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist / Milling & Turning Operator for our client based in S61.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Create, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programs.
  • Operate CNC milling and turning machines.
  • Inspect and record all relevant dimensions.
  • Complete all documentation and record labour bookings.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate tooling.
  • Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate cutting and machining conditions.
  • Good and demonstrable knowledge of using measuring equipment.
  • Engage well with other team members.

Working Hours and Shift Pattern

39 hours per week. Day Shifts: Mon – Thu 06:00 – 14:35; Fri 06:00 – 12:00. Night Shifts: Mon – Wed 16:00 – 02:20; Thu 16:00 – 01:20 (x1.5 premium applies for nights).

Salary

Salary circa Β£45k to Β£55k (dependent upon shift pattern and experience).
