Forde Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Inspector/yard person. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Inspector to complement the existing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of inspecting vehicles to specific industry standards (NAMA, BVRLA).
Working hours: Monday – Friday 07.00 - 17.30 (42.5 hours per week) can vary depending on sale events.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To accurately and efficiently appraise vehicles with their own in-house inspection software.
- Identifying and noting damage to vehicles both internally and externally.
- Checking basic mechanical components in accordance with our 30-point check.
- Inspecting vehicles accurately and to specific industry standards i.e NAMA, BVRLA.
- Recommending vehicles for refurbishment.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Driving licence essential (with no more than 3 points due to insurance stipulations).
- The ability to cope well under pressure and work well within a team environment.
- Computer literate – must have the ability to use a tablet.
PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES/DIFFICULTIES:
- Weather conditions at times can be challenging.
- Working under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy.
POSITION & REMUNERATION:
- Temp to permanent position.
- On site parking.
- Basic salary: 30k.
