Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of engineering staff within South Yorkshire, are currently seeking an experienced, ideally apprentice served CNC Turner with iGuide programming experience. The CNC Turner will be responsible for:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Create, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programs.
- Use CNC turning machines.
- Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
- Completion of all documentation and record labour bookings.
- Basic machine maintenance.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate tooling.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate cutting & machining conditions.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of using measuring equipment.
- Engage well with other Team Members.
Hours: 39 hours per week
Rotational Shifts:
- Days - Mon - Thurs - 06.00 - 14.35 & Fri - 06.00 - 12.00
- Nights - Mon Weds 16:00 02:20 & Thurs 16:00 01:20 (x1.5 premium applies for nights)
Salary: Salary circ. £45k to £55k (dependent upon shift pattern and experience)
