We are currently recruiting Housing Solutions Officers on a temporary basis for an assignment until 31st October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated Homeless Service Emergency Duty Team, supporting vulnerable individuals and making a real difference in the community.
Location: Office-based role (no remote working)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Pay Rate: Approx. £15.12 per hour (equivalent to £29,093 per annum)
Role Overview:As a Housing Solutions Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers facing homelessness. You will carry out homeless assessments and work within the framework of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and the Housing Act 1996.
Key Responsibilities:- Frontline customer support and casework
- Conducting homelessness assessments
- Delivering advice and solutions in line with current legislation
- Supporting individuals and families with housing needs
- Previous experience in the homelessness or housing sector is essential
