Forde Recruitment are specialists within the automotive industry and are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with experience in vehicle inspections, automotive appraisals, fleet checks, or auction environments looking for a long-term role with permanent opportunities.
Pay & Hours
- Salary: Β£30,000 basic
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:30
- Overtime: Hours may vary during sale events
Job Type: Temp to Permanent
The Role
- Carrying out vehicle inspections using in-house software
- Identifying internal and external vehicle damage
- Completing 30-point vehicle checks
- Inspecting vehicles to NAMA & BVRLA standards
- Recommending vehicles for refurbishment
- Working outdoors in a busy yard environment
- Maintaining accuracy under pressure
What We're Looking For
- Previous vehicle inspection or appraisal experience
- Knowledge of NAMA / BVRLA standards preferred
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Comfortable using tablets and inspection software
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well independently and within a team
