Our client, a leading Logistics Company, are currently looking to recruit a number of Class 1 / LGV C&E drivers to work on their behalf. Based out of their flagship Barnsley site, you will be responsible for delivering nationwide to RDCs.

As a Class 1 / LGV CE Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient product transportation across the country. Key duties include:

  • Completing necessary transport administration
  • Driving in a fuel-efficient manner
  • Ensuring compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations
  • Adhering to safe systems of work
  • Conducting pre and post vehicle checks

LGV CE Driver Rates (PAYE):

  • Mon-Fri - £17.50
  • Sat - £18.00
  • Sun - £19.50

Requirements:

  • Hold a full HGV CE driving licence
  • Possess a minimum of 24 months' driving experience for Driver Negligible Incident (DNI)
  • Demonstrate a good level of English speaking and written communication skills
  • Have a maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted)
  • Possess a UK Driving Licence, Digi Tachograph Card, and CPC Card
