The Opportunity

If you’re a Multi Skilled Electrical Technician with strong electrical skillset looking to step into a role that goes beyond routine maintenance, this is an opportunity to work in a truly dynamic and technically stimulating environment. In this position, you’ll be part of a specialist engineering team responsible for maintaining complex, safety-critical systems. From high-performance ride systems to sophisticated control and automation technologies, you’ll gain exposure to equipment that combines electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based systems in ways rarely found elsewhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre-opening inspections, testing, and safety checks across a range of electrical systems, ensuring all assets are operational, compliant, and ready for use.
  • Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment, control systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Diagnose faults efficiently using a methodical approach, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns across the site, working under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical technicians and operational teams to ensure all systems are maintained and repaired to the highest standard.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a fast-paced or industrial environment (both planned and reactive).
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in an electrical discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with control systems, PLCs, or automation would be advantageous, though not essential.

What Makes This Role Different

  • A highly varied working environment where no two days are the same.
  • Exposure to advanced engineering systems and technologies not commonly found in traditional industries.
  • The opportunity to develop specialist skills in a unique technical field.
  • A strong team culture focused on collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • The satisfaction of seeing your work directly contribute to large-scale operations running safely and smoothly.
