You will work on cross-functional programs that improve the customer journey and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations management for the bank with emphasis on customer service, efficiency and resilience
  • Develop and implement operating models and strategies to prioritise customer and colleague experience, reduce costs, and optimise processes
  • Project manage new systems, processes and operating models
  • Develop and implement the Operational Resilience framework including testing
  • Develop and manage the Consumer Duty framework including testing
  • Manage control risk assessments and the controls framework
  • Ensure compliance with FCA complaints handling and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct vendor audits to ensure quality and service standards
  • Lead end-to-end contract management including drafting, negotiation and review of contracts
  • Collaborate with procurement to align strategies, evaluate suppliers, and drive cost savings
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Identify and implement process improvements across operations and supplier management

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in Retail Deposits within banking/financial services
  • Strong operations management and operational resilience experience
  • Experience with outsourced vendor management, contract management and supplier governance
  • Understanding of banking regulations and regulatory requirements
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies, process improvements and operating models
  • Track record of managing third-party suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance management
  • Strong project management, prioritisation and delivery of complex initiatives
  • Experience managing risk assessments, control frameworks and governance activities
