As the Residual Value (RV) Risk Manager, you will own the residual value strategy and forecast for FCE within the Risk organisation. You will ensure that RV assumptions used in loan originations and portfolio valuations (provisioning) appropriately reflect market conditions, remarketing performance, and financial exposure. This role combines risk management expertise, business acumen, and technical fluency. You will translate model outputs and market drivers into actionable residual value decisions and provide clear, compelling communication to senior leadership. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics, or a related field.7+ years of experience in residual value setting, risk management, automotive finance, or used vehicle market analysis.7+ years of team leadership experience, including proven coaching and performance management capability. Strong understanding of the impact of residual values on financial and capital performance, including reserves, exposures, and capital stress testing. Working knowledge of data modelling concepts (statistical, econometric, or machine learning) with the ability to assess and challenge model outputs. Familiarity with data and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, GCP BigQuery, Alteryx, Power BI, and QlikSense. Strong business and risk acumen, with the ability to turn analytics into actionable insights. 10+ years of experience in an automotive-related industry, including used vehicles, remarketing, sales, or finance. Experience in financial risk management (credit, market, or residual value risk), including interaction with regulators. Previous leadership experience within Risk, Finance, or Business Planning. Technical fluency to engage effectively with Data Science and Analytics teams on model logic and assumptions. Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical requirements and communicate results back into business terms.
