We are seeking skilled Warehouse operatives to perform parts kitting tasks for an organisation that specialises in maintenance, refurbishment, overhauls and modifications of rolling stock components.
As a Warehouse operative, Parts Kitter, you will be responsible for gathering components, assembling them into predefined kits, applying accurate labels, and ensuring all kits meet quality standards before they move into production. You will also play an important role in maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling components into predefined kits
- Accurately labelling kits for easy identification
- Tracking inventory quantities throughout the kitting process
- Inspecting completed kits for quality and completeness
- Following all safety protocols and reporting hazards, near misses, accidents or incidents
- Supporting 5S activities and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Mentoring trainees or apprentices when required
- Reporting any issues or job‑related concerns to the Site Support Supervisor
