Skilled Train Maintainer Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Rate: 39.91 per hour (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 6-9 Months Hours: Flexible working required across mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. About the Role We are currently recruiting for experienced Skilled Train Maintainers to undertake the servicing, maintenance, repair, fault finding and overhaul of rolling stock, traction equipment and associated components. This is a hands-on engineering role working within a depot environment, ensuring rail vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of reliability and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities in accordance with established engineering standards and technical specifications while supporting operational requirements and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Team Leader and undertake assigned maintenance activities within your level of competence. Perform servicing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of rolling stock, traction equipment and associated components. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults. Complete all maintenance documentation and sign off completed work accurately, identifying any outstanding actions where required.
