The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Rail Component Cleaner / Stripper to join a modern and well-maintained facility in Birkenhead. This is a hands-on role focused on the stripping, cleaning, and preparation of rail components as part of rolling stock overhaul operations. You will be working as part of a friendly, professional team in a clean environment, using new technologies and updated processes to support efficient and high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Stripping down rail components and assemblies
- Cleaning parts to required standards using appropriate methods
- Preparing components for inspection, repair, or reassembly
- Following safety, quality, and process procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (Unpaid lunch breaks)
Enjoy an early finish every Friday
