MIG Welders
Location:Nottingham / Derby
Salary:good rates of pay depending on experience
Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday - Minimum 40 hours a week
We are seeking experienced MIG welders in the Derby / Nottingham region to support ongoing MIG welding projects within the rail industry.
Your New Opportunity
Become part of an expert engineering team delivering high‑quality MIG welding, fabrication and structural preparation on rolling stock vehicles.
- Perform high‑quality welding on structural assemblies and underframe sections
- Help to fabricate and prepare surfaces ready for welding
The Ideal Candidate
You'll offer MIG welding expertise combined with practical mechanical assembly experience.
- A background in welding and fabrication in either MIG, Stick or MMA
- Experience of welding on mild steel
- You will be able to weld different angles such as vertical and overhead and carry out multi runs
- Must be able to work from engineering drawings and instruction.
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 1 years' experience
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screening
