We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive hands-on Welding Quality Inspector to ensure that all products, processes, and workmanship meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in‑process and final inspections on products, components, and assemblies.
- Confirm compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Identify, record, and report non‑conformances, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support root‑cause investigations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and all associated quality documentation.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist with internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out some welding and grinding activities where required.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to new team members.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Welding Quality Inspector.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of MIG welding processes.
- Knowledge of welding practices on materials up to 40mm thick on mild steel.
- PCN Level 2 or CSWIP 3.1 welding inspection knowledge or qualification (Visual, Dye Pen ideally).
- Familiarity with inspection methods and quality assurance tools.
- Competent in using measurement equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Practical, hands‑on approach with a willingness to get involved on the shop floor.
