Logistics Planning Coordinator required to manage the movements of inbound and outbound parts, organise delivery by liaising with transport companies and manage the whereabouts of parts on site so they are easily accessible for the production line.
Role Summary:
- Fast-paced environment with a large volume of materials to coordinate
- Using FLT to organise the internal movements of parts as well as operating overhead cranes (training provided)
- Speaking with external companies to organise the delivery and collection of parts from production
Essential Skills:
- Organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Valid driving licence
- Experience operating FLT
- Self-motivation, proactive work ethic, and ability to work independently
Desirable Skills:
- Strong background working in a stores or production environment
- Experienced in crane movements is advantageous
- Experience in dealing with transport for inbound and outbound deliveries
