HVAC Electrical Technician We are seeking a skilled HVAC Electrical Technician to join a rolling stock engineering team, supporting the overhaul, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems used on passenger trains. Level 3 qualified. £19.20p/h PAYE  Monday to Thursday: 6am or 7:00am to 2:30pm/3:30pm and Friday: 6am/7:00am to 11am/12:00pm Key Responsibilities Carry out the overhaul, refurbishment, and testing of HVAC units removed from rolling stock. Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC equipment. Undertake high-voltage testing and ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Support continuous improvement activities and maintain accurate maintenance records. Candidate Requirements Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related discipline. Strong electrical bias with proven experience in fault finding and electrical maintenance. Experience working as an Electrical Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar engineering role. High-voltage testing experience is highly desirable. Rail industry experience is advantageous but not essential. Backgrounds Considered Candidates from a range of engineering sectors will be considered, including: Rail and Rolling Stock Heavy Engineering Plant and Equipment Maintenance Armed Forces / Military Engineering Manufacturing and Industrial Maintenance Other electrically biased engineering environments Training & Location Successful candidates will initially complete a 3-month training programme in Doncaster. Travel during the training period will be reimbursed at 30p per mile. Upon successful completion of training, technicians will transfer to the Barton site on a permanent basis.
