This is a long term opportunity to join a major rail programme, supporting HVAC systems on modern rolling stock across key UK depots. You will be working across operational depots, playing a key role in keeping critical rail systems running safely and efficiently.

The Role

Working as part of the service and maintenance function, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems on trains and within depot environments. This is a hands on role where you will work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team on live operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fault finding, testing and repair of HVAC systems
  • Planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Completing service reports and compliance documentation
  • Working in line with depot procedures and safety standards
  • Travelling between Aylesbury and Banbury depots as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Electrically competent HVAC engineer or qualified electrician with HVAC exposure
  • Experience in service, maintenance or fault finding environments
