Pay: £18.20 rising to £18.79 per hour (£36,156 per annum)
Location: Barton Under Needwood
Contract: 6 months +
We are currently recruiting for skilled welders to join a growing team, location is in Barton Under Needwood. This role offers the opportunity to work on rail industry components, carrying out high-quality welding and repair work on rail components.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out:
- MiG, TIG and stick welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
- Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
- Welding and repair of rail components
- Working to engineering drawings and quality standards
- Adhering to all site health and safety requirements

- £18.20 for the first 12 weeks, rising to £18.79 per hour

Applicants should have:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience
- Experience welding in vertical and overhead positions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a team environment
- Own flame-retardant overalls
- Own welding boots
- PPE Provided
- Air-fed welding masks provided by the company.
