Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Modifications Technicians to support our clients Rail project in Eastleigh. The Opportunity You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential mechanical modifications to the interior and exterior of MK5 Rail carriages. Contract Length: 13 weeks initially, inside IR35 (Paid through an umbrella company) Location (s): Eastleigh, Southampton Key Role and Responsibilities • Mechanical repairs • Exterior repairs • Interior repairs • Modifications and repairs to windows • Modifications and repairs to interior components Essentials • NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent • Mechanically experienced • Previous experience of mechanical building and modifications • Flexible to work weekends, as may be required with project demands • Enjoy working as part of a team Desirables • Commutable to Eastleigh • Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable • Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background • FLT Licence About Ford & Stanley Group Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group are in the business of people and performance.
