Mechanical Fitter required to carry out preventative work on a fleet of state of the art rolling stock vehicles. Skilled Fitters required to complete scheduled maintenance, servicing, and exam work to prevent faults and ensure operational reliability of rolling stock vehicles. What You’ll Be Doing: Following maintenance instructions and procedures with precision. Performing mechanical and basic electrical tasks, including reading schematics and using diagnostic software. Reporting to team leaders and production managers, contributing to daily plans and team operations. Adapting to evolving shift patterns and operational needs, including potential future 24/7 coverage. What You’ll Need: Mechanical skills with electrical appreciation and the ability to read schematics. Level 3 qualification in engineering field. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
