A key rail industry business that focuses on software-led signaling, control systems and digital rail solutions is looking to expand their engineering function. They are looking for a specialist in Software Systems Testing & Integration to support the integration, validation, and delivery of complex, software-driven systems.

This position sits at the heart of project delivery, taking ownership (from very early stages) of integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities across the full lifecycle of complex rail systems. You will work on some industry-leading systems and products that improve the safety and reliability of the rail industry.
Responsibilities & Scope of Role
- Defining and executing test strategies across system and subsystem level
- Leading integration activities across hardware and software components
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving system defects
- Supporting client-facing validation and acceptance testing
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful delivery
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience across Systems Engineer / V Lifecycle orientated roles & Systems Integration
- Knowledge & experience of the following: Linux (e.g. Command Skills), Cisco (networking, debugging, configuring) & SQL (e.g. write queries) & Python
- Software Systems Testing Background & writing Test Specs/Test Plans
- Ideally Signaling or Rail Industry experience
Location: Hybrid out of Wiltshire based office
Salary: Up to Β£65,000
