Ford & Stanley are supporting a rail client with the recruitment of a SAP Administrator to support their operations during a period of increased demand and business activity. This role has been created due to the current pace at which the business is operating, requiring an individual who can quickly integrate into the team and hit the ground running. You will play a key role in maintaining SAP data accuracy, supporting planning activities. The position suits a candidate who is highly organised, IT literate, and comfortable working both independently and within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support day-to-day SAP system administration
  • Perform data imports and exports within SAP
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records
  • Support planning and scheduling activities within SAP
  • Assist with logistics coordination and geographical planning consideration
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners
  • Identify and resolve administrative or system issues using own initiative
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal processes

Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP in an administrative or operational role
  • Solid general administration experience
  • Good understanding of planning processes
  • Awareness of logistics operations and geographical considerations
  • High level of IT literacy (Excel and systems experience)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to use initiative
  • Experience working with logistics providers (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a high-paced operational or distribution environment (desirable)
  • Familiarity with planning or scheduling systems (desirable)

Location: Derby – on site

Working pattern: 4 days per week, 20-25 hours per week, starting at 08:00.

Contract: Initial 3-6 month contract, with strong potential to go permanent.
