Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.15am until 16.00pm, Friday 07.15am until 15.00pm
Role Purpose
We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to ensure that all products, processes, and workmanship meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out in‑process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards
- Identify and document non‑conformances, escalating issues where required
- Support root‑cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Ensure correct use and calibration of measuring and inspection equipment
- Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a strong quality and safety culture across the site
Skills & Experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of welding processes
- PCN or CSWIP welding inspection knowledge or qualification
- Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality tools
- Competent in using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
