Materials Manager | Mendip The Opportunity: Are you an engaging Materials Manager, ready to use your skillset to modernise operations across 3 large Freight depots? Based at Mendip Depot, this is an opportunity for you to take control of materials operations for the Heavy Haul freight side of this UK Heavy Haul Rail Freight Market Leader. You will drive teams across 3 depots, supporting Stores Managers at each depot, using your fresh ideas to resolve all escalated issues and modernise reporting/current processes across this £multimillion company. The Candidate: Experience using an Asset Management System e.g. SAP/Maximo/AMS with an understanding of how to get the best results from it. Experience delivering change – e.g. how to transform stock holding issues. Experience managing Suppliers and Contracts Man-management experience Rail experience (desirable).
