An engineer with expertise across mechanical and electrical disciplines is required to join a rail industry expert. The engineer may be either mechanically or electrically biased; the role combines electrical and mechanical design disciplines to deliver complete engineered solutions, including cabinet layouts, electrical schematics, component selection, and integration of control hardware. The role will be involved from cradle to grave; the engineer will design products for the power products team.

Essential Criteria

  • Either: Mechanically biased design engineer with exposure to electrical engineering principles OR Electrically biased design engineer with exposure to mechanical engineering principles.
  • Design authority experience / high level of involvement in design approval.
  • Degree or HND in supporting field.
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is advantageous.
