The Opportunity
Joining the business at a time of growth through successfully winning new, long-term contracts, this role will operate with support but also a large degree of autonomy and trust to complete their work. This work will include completing day-to-day purchasing tasks to short turnaround times, as well as working on long-term supply chain improvement directives.

Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining assigned supplier relations by selecting suppliers and negotiating prices for material and/or services required
Analyse, negotiate and report supplier price changes
Conduct periodic commodity surveys to obtain price comparisons; evaluate market trends to develop new services and create cost savings
Identify potential problem areas and recommend changes
