One of the UK’s largest and most respected employers is seeking a detail orientated Structural Engineer to improve the quality of assessments and recommendations for maintenance and upkeep of 8000 + infrastructure assets within their Eastern Region.
The successful candidates goals will be to:
- Recommend engineering solutions to improve asset condition, safety, and performance across a rich variety of historically significant structures
- Enhance the delivery and quality of structural examinations by collaborating across internal and external stakeholders, improving methodologies and processes, and harnessing technology
- Drive continuous improvement and look at creating efficiencies.

Working Arrangements
- Office locations: Stratford or Derby
- Hybrid working model: minimum of 3 days in office depending on business needs.
Salary
- £43,588 – £51,718 per annum dependant on experience
- If based in London, you will be given a London Allowance of an additional £3270 per annum
Candidate Essential Criteria
- Bridge Engineering experience (Essential)
- Strong attention to detail and proactive (Essential)
- Rail, Highways, or infrastructure Engineering experience (Desirable)
- Working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (Essential)
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (Essential)
- STE2/STE02 competency or STE01 competency (Desirable)
- Degree in a relevant subject (Desirable)
