Asset Engineer (Structures) | Derby or Stratford based | Up to £51,000

One of the UK’s largest and most respected employers is seeking a detail orientated Structural Engineer to improve the quality of assessments and recommendations for maintenance and upkeep of 8000 + infrastructure assets within their Eastern Region.

The successful candidates goals will be to:

  • Recommend engineering solutions to improve asset condition, safety, and performance across a rich variety of historically significant structures
  • Enhance the delivery and quality of structural examinations by collaborating across internal and external stakeholders, improving methodologies and processes, and harnessing technology
  • Drive continuous improvement and look at creating efficiencies.

Working Arrangements

  • Office locations: Stratford or Derby
  • Hybrid working model: minimum of 3 days in office depending on business needs.

Salary

  • £43,588 – £51,718 per annum dependant on experience
  • If based in London, you will be given a London Allowance of an additional £3270 per annum

Candidate Essential Criteria

  • Bridge Engineering experience (Essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive (Essential)
  • Rail, Highways, or infrastructure Engineering experience (Desirable)
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (Essential)

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (Essential)
  • STE2/STE02 competency or STE01 competency (Desirable)
  • Degree in a relevant subject (Desirable)
