Payroll Manager β Central London (Permanent Role) Hybrid/Flexible Working | Free Rail Card | Β£50-55K We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Payroll Manager to join our team in Central London. This is a permanent opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Manage four-weekly payroll cycles with a focus on accuracy and validation. Be the main point of contact for payroll queries from employees and line managers. Perform gross-to-net calculations, including statutory payments (SMP, SSP, etc.). Act as the subject matter expert on payroll legislation and compliance. Maintain delegated authority protocols and specimen signature lists. Oversee the relationship with Midland HR (iTrent), ensuring system efficiency. Work closely with HR on pay awards, harmonisation, bonuses, and organisational changes. Lead the tax year-end process, including P11D production. Calculate and process maternity and paternity pay. Liaise with HMRC to resolve queries and ensure timely PAYE/NI payments. Prepare weekly payroll cashflows for Treasury and highlight variances. Submit monthly payroll data to the Office for National Statistics. Provide timely reporting to HR, Finance, and management. Notify Treasury of AVC payments for RPMI.
