This graduate Asset Integrity Engineer role is an exciting opportunity for an engineering graduate to work within their Asset Integrity Division, supporting a range of technical services. This is the perfect opportunity for an inquisitive and proactive Mechanical Engineer, who enjoys problem solving and is looking for a blend of both practical 'hands-on' and analytical 'hands-off' work. They will also have the opportunity to undertake exciting training, such as the 'offshore survival course'.

The role focuses on structural vibration assessment, process piping vibration solutions, and asset integrity monitoring, ensuring equipment reliability across various industries. There will be regular opportunities for travel and earning overtime, nationally, internationally, and offshore, with Oil & Gas being one of their key sector areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Site-based investigation and consultation: Conduct structural and process piping vibration assessments, applying problem-solving techniques to enhance asset integrity.
  • Technical Engineering Support: Perform on-site measurement surveys to include vibration, strain, displacement using latest technologies as well as configuring and implementing monitoring systems to track asset performance and reliability from a structural perspective over medium term.
  • Project Coordination: Prepare and execute project plans, including equipment procurement, setup, travel arrangements, and on-site management.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Data analysis and advanced signal processing tools to analyse data and determine root cause. Utilize CAD, FEA (ANSYS) develop solutions, and compile technical reports.
  • Client/Stakeholder Management: Communicate with customers to understand requirements, develop technical and commercial proposals, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Field Work & Travel: Undertake assignments that require travel to customer sites, including offshore and international locations, often working independently or within small teams.

The Candidate:

  • Must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Must have an interest/knowledge in vibration and structural analysis
  • A desire to work in a practical/heavy engineering role
  • A valid UK driving License
  • The ability to pass an offshore medical

Location: Based in Warrington with regular travel

Salary: £28,800 - £32,000 (DOE)
