The Role
As a Managing Consultant, you will operate as a trusted advisor to partnered clients, delivering a full executive search lifecycle with a strong focus on premium, white-glove solutions. Ford & Stanley Executive Search works exclusively on a retained search basis across multiple disciplines and sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client briefing through to offer management and onboarding
- Deliver executive and senior-level search assignments, including market mapping, headhunting, and candidate engagement
- Provide a white-glove service, ensuring an exceptional, tailored experience for clients and candidates
- Complete sales, business development and relationship development responsibilities to build and maintain long-term, strategic client relationships
- Offer insight and guidance on talent strategy, market conditions, and hiring trends
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and service delivery
About You
- Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle within a recruitment consultancy environment
- Background in Executive Search or senior-level recruitment
- Experience in retained search is an advantage but not essential
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and C-suite clients
- Consultative, relationship-led approach with a focus on quality over volume
- Commercially astute, well-organised, and results-driven
- Professional, credible, and articulate communicator motivated by quality, reputation, and long-term impact
- Aligned to a collaborative, values-led culture
Desirable: Experience in retained or executive search is advantageous, but not essential.
