We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Training Coordinator to join the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Leicester.

As an Apprenticeship Training Coordinator, we can offer you:

The Apprenticeship Training Coordinator responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support for the Apprentice Programme, working closely with the Group Apprenticeship Manager, training providers, and DAF Trucks to ensure all training records are accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting the planning, promotion, and delivery of key apprenticeship activities and events, including recruitment campaigns, induction days, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Assisting with the coordination of marketing initiatives to promote the Apprentice Programme, contributing to recruitment efforts and wider awareness campaigns.
  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as correspondence, data entry, document creation, diary management, meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Who are we looking for as an Apprenticeship Training Coordinator:

  • Previous experience working as a Coordinator/Administrator in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident people person, happy dealing with individuals, organisations, and businesses at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Competent in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Mental Health First Aid trained, or experience supporting staff/apprentices with mental health and wellbeing matters (or a willingness to undertake training).
  • Happy to travel on an ad hoc basis to events, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (potentially some flexibility).
