Ford and Slater are one of the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have an exciting position as a Parts Advisor in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in King’s Lynn.

As a Parts Advisor, we can offer you:

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

  • Ideally you will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
  • Or be sales driven, have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
  • A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
  • PC Literate.
  • Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter and telephone.
  • Promote and encourage growth of the parts business.
  • Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response.

Working: Monday to Thursday, 9am – 6pm. Friday, 9am – 5pm. Saturday mornings on a rota basis 7am – Midday, paid as overtime.
