Ford and Slater are one of the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an exciting position as a Parts Advisor in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Birtley.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:
- You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role, within the commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
- Or have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
- A customer focused, sales driven individual, with excellent communication skills.
- PC Literate.
- Full UK driving licence.
The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter and telephone.
- Promote and encourage growth of the parts business.
- Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
Working: Monday to Friday & 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (Saturday paid as overtime).
