We currently have an exciting position as a Parts Business Development Manager in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Spalding.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Business Development Manager:
- You will have previous experience working as a Business Development Manager or within a Sales role in the Truck, Trailer, Commercial Vehicle, Car, Motor trade or associated sector.
- Or have a keen interest in trucks and know your truck and trailer parts and have a passion for sales.
- Self‑motivated and have a pro‑active approach with the ability to manage your own diary, generate sales meetings with new and existing customers and a drive to exceed targets.
- A client‑driven individual with excellent communication skills.
- Intuition to recognise and seek out sales opportunities.
- B2B sales experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- PC Literate.
- Full UK driving licence (ideally clean).
The Parts Business Development Manager (Truck & Trailer Parts) role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- You will be given a number of existing customers to manage and your territory to develop will be Spalding and the surrounding area (approx. 30 miles radius).
- Your main responsibility will be to maintain and grow sales of our Truck & Trailer parts business within existing and new customers both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Make client visits as and when required to establish and maintain long‑term relationships to grow sales and review customer price files and Imprest Stocks quarterly, ensuring our offering remains comprehensive and competitive.
- Promote additional ‘add on’ sales opportunities.
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and effectively close sales.
- Core working hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
