The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Who are we looking for as a Management Accountant:
- Ideally you will have previous experience working as an Assistant / Management Accountant or in a similar Accounting / Finance role
- Part qualified or qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Excellent IT and communication skills (specifically Excel and MS Office applications)
- Experience of Data Analysis & Reporting
- Finance experience within the Automotive sector would be beneficial but not essential
- A team player with an exceptional eye for detail
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
The Management Accountant responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Detailed preparation of Dealership Management Accounts – Income Statements to Balance Sheets (monthly basis).
- Re-analysis of management accounts in order to produce bank formats giving further detailed analysis to management such as cash flows, debtor analysis, variance analysis etc.
- Maintaining and reconciling the Group Fixed Assets Register and to carry out physical fixed assets audits of all Ford & Slater depots.
- Data Analysis including, but not limited to, Daily Sales & WIP Reporting (Good Excel Skills).
- Interrogating the data extracted from Power Dealer Management System (DMS) and analysing it in a timely manner in aiding senior management to make strategic decisions.
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Analysis and coding of purchase invoices/credit notes.
- Coding of manual Sales Ledger credit notes.
- Calculating and posting journals – Monthly Accruals & Prepayments etc.
- Depot visits/Teams meetings: Liaising with depots to help put finance view in context.
- Taking responsibility and reconciling balances on the trial balance.
- Aiding with the Annual Audit, Statutory Accounts, VAT Returns & Corporation Tax.
- Ad hoc work as required.
Working Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5pm (with 1 hour lunch).
