The Vendor Management Analyst supports the organisation’s Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework by coordinating due‑diligence activities, maintaining accurate vendor data, and providing insights that help the business make informed decisions about its external partners. In this role, you’ll work closely with business owners and cross‑functional teams to ensure vendor documentation is complete, vendor risks are monitored, and the TPRM platform remains an accurate and reliable source of information. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, analytical ability, and experience within vendor management, risk, procurement, or operations.
Responsibilities
- TPRM Coordination & Documentation
- Act as the primary liaison for business owners, supporting the end‑to‑end collection of due‑diligence documentation (e.g., SOC2 reports, financial statements, exit plans).
- Review vendor submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness, reducing rework and cycle times.
- Provide guidance to business owners on TPRM requirements and their responsibilities within the process.
- Platform Management & Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date vendor profiles within the TPRM platform.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies.
- Ensure all vendor‑related information is audit‑ready and compliant with internal policies.
- Prepare quarterly and annual vendor performance reports, turning raw data into meaningful insights.
- Monitor remediation actions and elevate overdue tasks or emerging performance concerns.
- Support leadership reporting through dashboards and structured updates.
- Performance Presentation Support
- Create and refine monthly performance slide decks, ensuring insights are communicated clearly and effectively.
- Policy, Process & Cross‑Functional Support
- Serve as a checkpoint to ensure vendor activities comply with vendor management policies and procedures.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements.
- Partner with business teams to track vendor performance against service levels, pricing, and other commitments.
- Support vendor onboarding, due diligence, and periodic reviews.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, operations, risk, analytics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with risk, compliance, or audit processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint skills, particularly for data visualisation and professional reporting layouts.
- Experience working with vendor contracts or service‑level agreements.
