As a Measurement Room Specialist in Ford's Quality Department, you will:
- Support the commissioning of new, state-of-the-art measurement equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
- Utilise your expertise in metrology and measurement principles to ensure the precision of internal and external purchased components, using advanced laboratory equipment.
- Produce detailed measurement reports for components, ensuring clear communication of results and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with quality investigations, providing expert measurement support to resolve issues and maintain the highest standards of quality.
Qualifications:
- Completed a Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or an HNC/HND equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel, with strong communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team while being self-motivated and flexible.
