Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technicians wanted at Ford Transmissions Halewood!
Salary: £43,912.80 (including the 35% holiday bonus)
Location: FordHalewood Transmission Plant

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on a range of equipment, including Siemens PLC controlled systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, CNC machines, and robots.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to ensure optimal machine performance and minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians, engineers, and production personnel to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work with vendors and other departments to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards and production goals are met.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised Engineering Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, and CNC machines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety procedures and a proactive approach to safety in the workplace.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
