Ford Credit is experiencing significant business transformation in an ever-changing digital world and searching for a Senior Product Designer for a 6 month FTC to lead the design of internal platforms and digital products. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with technical execution, delivering intuitive, aesthetically pleasing UX solutions. This role involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to create engaging product experiences while shaping design standards and best practices across the organisation.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Product Designer, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end experience for our digital platforms. You will work in close collaboration with product managers and engineers, taking design ideas from inception to delivery. You will create beautiful, usable solutions based on unbiased user research.
- Design lean, iterative, and development-ready solutions that can scale for the future but understand the technology constraints of the now.
- Lead design from ideation through launch, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and interaction design.
- Think deeply about the user experience balanced with business goals to inform their designs.
- Apply user research insights to drive product design and strategy, and help your team understand why and how to build better experiences.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‐functional teams, including engineering, product management, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in workflows, interactions, and visual design to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Present design rationale and with suitable stakeholder engagement, translate complex concepts into understandable solutions.
- Craft beautiful and usable designs for digital products by applying your domain expertise, deep research findings, and collaborating with peers across the product team.
- Engage and inspire the product team about our customers' experiences through powerful storytelling of the human-centered design process, research insights, and customer journeys.
- Solid understanding of UX design principles, interaction design, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, journey mapping, and data visualisation for internal platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Miro, as well as familiarity working with Confluence and Jira.
- Drive the practical realisation of design work by supporting engineering teams through the full development lifecycle, balancing technical excellence with project constraints.
- Experience in Agile team environments, contributing to iterative product development.
- Experience synthesizing research findings into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and design solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, capable of advocating for user needs while aligning with business goals.
- Ability to lead complex design projects autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in user experience, human-computer interaction, interaction design, service design or digital design-related degree.
- 5+ years of experience in product or UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on internal platforms or complex digital products.
