Ford Fuels is a family run fuel, lubricant and AdBlue distribution business supplying both commercial and domestic customers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our commercial sales team to help grow the business in Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

Your role will involve looking after our existing customers as well as developing new sales in a variety of business sectors.

About the role:
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing customers
  • Obtain regular and repeat business and multi-sales
  • Build a portfolio of new customers
  • Approaching customers in all sectors (Fleet, Industrial, Agricultural, Off-road, etc) using a variety of communication methods
  • Submit orders referring to price lists
  • Plan and organise daily work schedule
  • Tailor sales presentations for customers
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Achieve targets
  • Occasional shows
About you:
  • At least 3 years proven experience in sales
  • Previous industry experience (desirable)
  • Sales qualification (desirable)
  • Fuel and Lubricant sales experience (desirable)
  • IT literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised
