We are currently looking for a maintenance operative to join the team, and the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, or fixing a variety of items in and outside of our homes throughout South and West Yorkshire. You will be supported by the company Property Maintenance Manager.
Main Duties:
- Fixing doors and fitting skirting boards
- Snagging
- Tiling
- Undertaking small plumbing repairs
- Undertaking small electrical repairs
- Replacing double glazing units
- Proactive and reactive maintenance duties
- Providing rota on call maintenance cover
- Liaising with home managers undertaking work to ensure timely completion
Company van and mobile will be provided.
Skills Required:
- Must hold a full driving licence
- Knowledge/understanding of Health and Safety
- Experience in a similar role
- Be willing to travel throughout South/West Yorkshire to our properties
- General fixes including changing locks, flat pack assembly, and some garden works
