As a Midday Assistant you will take care and control of all the children on the school premises during the lunch break between the morning and afternoon teaching sessions.
Responsibilities
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our pupils
- Have first aid knowledge preferred but not essential
- To assist pupils whilst in the dining hall.
- To enforce the behaviour procedures for maintaining good order.
- To provide pastoral care, guidance and routine advice to pupils as appropriate.
- To alert class teacher or Headteacher of any concerns regarding an individual pupil or group of pupils
- To collect/drop the hot lunches from the supplier in Gt Waltham, so must have use of your own vehicle.
