We are seeking an experienced HR professional to serve as a Senior HR Business Partner at FCE Bank plc, part of Ford Motor Company. The role is a full‑time, 18‑month fixed‑term contract providing maternity leave cover.

Role Overview
As a Senior HR Business Partner based at our Dunton campus, you will partner with business units to align people strategy with organisational goals, support leaders and employees across a full range of people‑related matters and champion the company culture and values.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership & Consulting
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals, acting as a trusted advisor and coach.
- Provide strategic insight and guidance on organisational design, workforce planning and performance management.
- Guide and enable leaders to optimise performance, navigate change and deliver business‑aligned outcomes.
Employee Relations
- Partner with leaders and employees to manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Provide regular updates on cases and collaborate with key stakeholders to support business‑aligned, legally compliant approaches and outcomes.
- Apply sound judgement to minimise risk, promote fairness and support positive employee experiences.
Organisational Change
- Guide leaders through effective organisational change and functional restructuring to achieve business objectives.
- Advise on people impacts, change management approaches and compliant consultation processes where required.
- Support sustainable people solutions during periods of business transformation.
Performance Management
- Facilitate and coach managers and employees through the Performance+ cycle, including goal setting, feedback, reviews, compensation review and performance enhancement plans.
- Drive performance management processes aligned to company policies, enabling leaders to build high‑performing teams.
- Support a culture of accountability, continuous development and constructive performance conversations.
Talent & Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with HRBPs, People Leaders and the Talent Team to deliver effective talent and workforce planning strategies.
- Help ensure FCE has the right talent, with the right skills, at the right time.
- Identify current and future needs and contribute towards solutions across recruitment, succession planning and skills development.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of effective HR controls to support legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities to strengthen people‑related policies and frameworks.
- Partner with second line of defence functions to support credible regulatory submissions for our SM&CR population.
HR Projects
- Lead or collaborate on HR projects, liaising with stakeholders including global Ford HR teams.
- Drive improvements in the delivery of our People Strategy, including employee experience, operational efficiency and culture.
- Use data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions and support business outcomes.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion a positive workplace culture and role‑model Ford OS Behaviours.
- Coach leaders and employees on what good looks like and how this links to building and sustaining high‑performing teams.
- Support the organisation in delivering short and long‑term objectives through engaged people and strong team spirit.
Experience
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2‑3 years as an HR Business Partner.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- CIPD qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience and skills will also be considered.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience as a strategic HR Business Partner, full HR cycle, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment law.
- HR compliance experience within a regulated banking environment, including FCA/PRA, SM&CR, employment law and compliance/controls.
- Ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels and coach leaders for success.
- Collaborative mindset, strong team spirit and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, conflict resolution and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCM systems.
